Before you begin
What should I bring to the first consultation?
Bring your intended use, approximate area, location, available drawings or photographs, priorities and any known building requirements. The preparation guide provides an editable checklist.
Are all six stages included in every appointment?
No. The journey is an adaptable planning framework. An execution-only, furniture or project-management appointment may cover a narrower scope. The agreed contract identifies included stages and deliverables.
Design & responsibilities
Can AL HAQ INTERIOR work with my existing architect?
The selected portfolio includes independently credited designers alongside Haq Associates’ execution or coordination scope. Share the existing appointment and design information so responsibilities can be discussed.
Who handles technical design and approvals?
The responsible architects, engineers, specialist contractors and approving parties must be identified for the project. Coordination does not itself establish an engineering-design appointment or statutory sign-off.
Planning & materials
Can a reliable budget be set before specifications are complete?
Early discussions can establish priorities and assumptions. A more defined price requires scope, quantities, selections and site information; allowances and exclusions should be stated clearly.
How long will the project take?
Duration depends on scope, design readiness, approvals, procurement, site conditions and sequencing. No universal completion period is promised. Agree a programme around the actual project information.
Are the materials in the photographs available for my project?
Photographs provide design context, not a current product catalogue. Product identity, availability, technical suitability and finishes should be confirmed through specifications and samples.
During the work
How should changes be handled?
Agree who can authorise a change and how its scope, price and programme implications are recorded before it proceeds. The process should match the individual appointment.
Completion & aftercare
What information should be agreed for handover?
Discuss completion review, outstanding items, relevant care instructions and any specialist testing or operating documents required by the contracted scope.
Is a standard warranty included with every service?
No standard warranty is established by the supplied company profile. Any warranty or aftercare obligation must be confirmed in the applicable contract or supplier documentation.
