PURPOSE & PERSPECTIVE

Begin with the way you live.

Architecture begins by understanding what a place must do. Rooms, movement, privacy and the relationship between inside and outside all shape the brief. Haq Associates’ company profile includes design and planning; Talha’s Residency carries the company’s design credit and a turnkey execution scope.

DELIVERY & DESIGN RESPONSIBILITY

Clear roles. Connected work.

Haq Associates · documented remit

Haq Associates is credited for design and turnkey delivery at Talha’s Residency. The architectural appointment for a new project must define the design stages and the people responsible for them.

Specialist & partner appointments

Structural engineering, specialist technical design, authority submissions and professional sign-off require separately identified responsibilities. The published profile does not establish an in-house licensed architectural or engineering team.

SCOPE & CAPABILITIES

Define what matters.

01

Brief & spatial priorities

Discuss the intended use, room relationships, privacy, circulation and future changes before settling on a direction.

02

Concept & planning

Explore a spatial concept against the site information, area requirements and budget made available for the project.

03

Design-to-build coordination

Agree how the selected design will be developed, documented and coordinated with the construction scope.

CORE DELIVERABLES

A starting point for the agreed appointment. The final deliverables depend on the project brief and contracted scope.

THE APPROACH

From intention to detail.

  1. 01

    Understand

Bring together site information, priorities and the constraints that will shape the brief.

  2. 02

    Explore

Review the arrangement of spaces, their proportions and their relationship to the surroundings.

  3. 03

    Resolve

Agree the design scope, specialist inputs and information needed before construction.

TECHNICAL & MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS

The decisions beneath the surface.

01

Site & context

Orientation, access, existing conditions and available surveys should inform the brief.

02

Buildability

Structural systems, service routes and construction sequence need input from the responsible specialists.

03

Material intent

Consider durability, maintenance, local availability and the way finishes meet.

A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we begin.

Can I begin with a site and an initial idea?

Yes. Share your site information, intended use, approximate area and priorities. The first discussion should establish the design appointment and the specialist inputs your project needs.

Are statutory approvals included?

They should not be assumed. Authority submissions, statutory sign-off and specialist engineering must be assigned explicitly in the project scope.

Can you work with my appointed architect?

The portfolio includes work with independently credited designers. The design and execution responsibilities can be set out around your existing appointment.
